Beta-Alanine Request

Is there any possibility of a Beta-Alanine choice in the future? I know you guys sell L-Carnosine, but from what I've read, most of the Carnosine isn't absorbed when supplemented (most likely due to the plasma carnosinase enzyme). Are there more recent studies that I'm possibly missing? Thank you.

If you haven't already read it, you are going to love the Andrews et. al (2015) paper on 5-HT, mood, cognition, and energy homeostasis. I mean the entire paper. It's absolutely loaded with interconnecting observations on how changes in serotonin levels—notably, the acute increase in 5-HT neurotransmission seen in SSRI treatment—can disrupt energy homeostasis and with it, mood and cognition as well. They hit the ground running by first taking a sledgehammer to the popular 'low serotonin hypothesis' of depression and instead assert, with evidence, that depression (or 'melancholia') is often the result of excess serotonin.
You'll be especially interested in their section titled 'The homeostatic equilibrium level of serotonin transmission is increased in situations requiring a rebalancing of metabolically expensive processes':

"We suggest that serotonin is elevated during exercise because the fall in glycogen forces a reprioritization in energy allocation. During recovery, serotonin levels fall as glycogen is replenished and allocation patterns normalize."

Which runs parallel to the observations in the Seo et. al (2011) study that you linked. (Thanks for sharing that, by the way—very interesting stuff!)
Where the Andrews paper gets really exciting is when they tie it all toge…

That is really cool! Very interesting theory!
