ND Cordyceps 10:1 powder moist, sticky, hard to deal with.

Anyone else experience this with Nootropics Depot Cordyceps extract? I tried to put some in caps tonight and it sticks to everything and seems to want to turn into a resin. It was sticking to the outside of the capsules. It was a logistical nightmare.

Has anyone else experienced this? How do you cope?

Edit: I have damprid and some jars. Should I just leave it in one with the cordyceps lid slightly ajar for a bit to dry it out?

Edit 2: I just received this yesterday, and immediately opened and found it like this. I didn’t introduce moisture myself. I also contacted ND, and hopefully they will have a solution.

Update: after speaking with someone at ND, I learned that this product naturally absorbs water due to the extraction method. There isn’t anything they can do to remedy the situation other than what I suggested in my first edit. They generously offered to send another tub, but didn’t think it would be any different. My advice would be to either use this as a tea, or buy the pre-made capsules.

Another note. I mixed 2g of this with 2g of chaga in a tea this morning before my run and crushed it. It’s a really good supplement!

Because it is such a concentrated extract, and we put no filler or stabilizers in it, it's a lot more susceptible to absorbing moisture. We could prevent it by adding in some stabilizers, but then people get upset that we are adding in "inert fillers" to our powders. So we have to choose between only selling the pure powder with nothing else in it, and accepting that it might not be as stable, or adding fillers and having people freak out over that.

That being said, it should not arrive like that. We'll send you out a replacement jar. I just searched our ticketing system, but nothing came up with "cordyceps sticky" in there. Did you already email my support team? PM me your order details so I can look into things.
