Another lab update: Our new Waters UPLC-MS and Thermo GC are finally in! Teams from Waters and Thermo have been on site at our facility installing and doing the IQ/OG on these new awsome machines!
The new UPLC mass spec from Waters is going to allow us a lot more ability and flexibility in method development, method validation, and identification of unknown compounds in various samples. We have a column switcher on this UPLC, so we can have it auto-switch between different columns needed for specific methods. This is crucial when working on an R&D machine that will be doing method development. Sometimes a C18 is just not the ideal column for the analyte. We also have the PDA detector in-line with the QDa mass detector. So we can get a full UV spectrum with peak purity in addition to the mass data. This will allow us to have a much more complete picture of the analyte. Sometimes what you think is a single peak on the UV spectrum is actually multiple things hiding together. The mass detector will show those fragmentation patterns and allow us to break down just what is in a peak at a given retention time. We are going to b…

I just wanted to thank you for the unprecedented quality of service you provide - it's a beacon of light in this murky community vulnerable to con artists. Honestly - words cannot describe how important to this industry what you are doing is, without people like you and your team, as well as others helping similarly, this community would be for nothing.
I see a company like this taking off as a culmination of decades of growth in the supplement entrepreneurial community. I hope that this attitude continues to spread because transparency and quality is good for profits - I don't know about anyone else but I have skipped out on buying a lot of supplements simply because I couldn't find them sold by a trustworthy vendor, or the brand clearly didn't know much about it's own product. If more companies were as good at communicating and pursuing quality products, I think this sector would blow up more than it ever has from the rush of people looking to enhance themselves. Right now all that holds them back are the articles talking about how many companies outright fake supplements (or sell inferior versions).
Anyways /rant - thanks again. Truly doing noble work - and I would love to hear that you're going to trade shows etc promoting your philosophy of transparency+quality. It's an obvious message but there's something about actually seeing somebody embody it and be successful.

It's our pleasure! Thanks for the kind words!
Once we fully launch our independent lab offering, we will likely do more outreach on things. We are doing some educational blogs and articles on analytical testing and chemistry under ND, though. So we will have more educational and interesting technical articles for people soon.
