Difference between KSM-66 and Ashwagandha Extract Powder?

What is the difference between the KSM-66 Ashwagandha and the Ashwagandha Extract Powder? It appears both have the same 4-5% Withanolides. From my understanding KSM-66 tries to maintain the same ratios as regular Ashwagandha....so how are these different (besides a large difference in price)? Thanks for your help!

They are different withanolides. There are over 35 different withanolides in ashwagandha. The USP monograh only looks at 8 of them, and actually only measures 2 of them, then extrapolates the others based off those measurements. So just because two things have the same amount of withanolides doesn't mean they have anywhere near the same effects. KSM-66 is more of an energizing extract. Sensoril is more of a sedating one. Our generic is more of a balanced one. Everyone has their favorite one. This is why we have a sample pack for people to try all three out. What is someone's favorite might be another's least favorite.
