Difference between KSM-66 and Ashwagandha Extract Powder?

What is the difference between the KSM-66 Ashwagandha and the Ashwagandha Extract Powder? It appears both have the same 4-5% Withanolides. From my understanding KSM-66 tries to maintain the same ratios as regular Ashwagandha....so how are these different (besides a large difference in price)? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the detailed explanation! I was initially turned on to ashwagandha due to its purported benefits to hair and scalp health (are you aware of any truth to these claims?). Any idea which would be more effective on that front?

It's not a common effect people talk about, but there does seem to be a little evidence.

Gotu kola actually shows good results for hair.
We have that in enteric coated tablets. Gotu kola also can improve skin health and would healing.

Ginseng seems to have some evidence, too.

Our root extract is a red ginseng.

It is also part of our PamaMAX product.

White jelly mushroom increases collagen in the body, which definitely helps improve skin. That might help with the scalp.

Keep in mind that none of these products are necessarily meant to help with hair and scalp. If it were me, I would probably start with gotu kola and white jelly, as I have personally noticed improved skin and wound healing with them. So I know they are helping in that regard.
