New Phenibut Formula?
Original post in this thread

Hello,
I have been ordering phenibut from ND for years now, and I noticed that this last time, it seemed much different from how it always has in the past. It used to be much more finely powdered, and now it has more of a sugary look to it., and I had to increase my dose by about 50% to achieve the effect that I got from the previous kind. Has anybody else noticed a difference lately? Did I just get a bad batch, or is that the new norm? It would be really nice to get the old form back somehow.

No, it is the exact same chemically as it always has been. We do not sell bad batches. We only sell things once we are sure they are correct and pure, and we do a lot of testing to ensure that. Milling size does change, though. The phenibut supply is very difficult right now, so we can't reject batches just based on milling size if everything tests perfect. If a batch tests perfect, but the crystals are larger than the last batch, we still accept it. Normally we try to hold particle size consistent, but with supply shortages like we are seeing right now, you can't just be rejecting things on particle size alone. You could crush the powder up with a mortar and pestle and get the same powdery consistency if you would like, though. Just think powdered sugar compared to granular sugar. It's the same sugar molecule, just one is more finely powdered than the other. Chemically they are identical. Some people even prefer the larger crystal size. It just depends on the person. It's certainly easier to handle and measure, that's for sure.
