GMP is not a certification. It's a basic set of rules set forth by the FDA. Something saying GMP certified is usually just marketing BS. You can be ISO or NSF certified, which look at GMP processes. However, GMP is NOT a certification, nor does it even deal with heavy metals testing at all. Even ISO and NSF doesn't evaluate the validity of your analytical testing. It's mostly dealing with processes and documentation. Look closely at all the GMP shit you see on products. Most are just BS saying things like "Meets GMP" or "Complies with GMP." If you want product from a company actually "certified" you need to look for ISO or NSF, and actually find their certification number. Again, that doesn't mean they are actually testing for heavy metals, either.
