Alcohol Defense stack question
Original post in this thread

The label says it contains pyridoxal 5-phosphate but does not specify the dosage (I understand it’s a proprietary blend). But can anyone affiliated with the product tell me if the b6 content of two pills is equivalent or less than the RDI? Asking because high doses of P5P in the 20-50mg range make me feel very bad and I want to make sure I’m not getting too much before trying this product.

I had actually been meaning to ask you about Alcohol Defense.
You mentioned it was designed to be taken when we were done drinking for the night, but that testers were having trouble sleeping on it because of gaba antagonism (so you tried putting in glycine). Would you be able to tell us what substance in Alcohol Defense interferes with sleep?
It's a great stack, especially with nausea control which is a first for hangover cures for me, and I'd rather take it as soon as I can so that I'm already recovering by the time I turn in for the night.

The dihydromyricetin is displacing the alcohol from the GABA receptor, which causes rebound excitation. That's likely the reason some people had trouble sleeping on our first formulations. We lowered the dihydromyricetin and added glycine, and that effect was mitigated.
