Often on the Glycinate supplements it will mention something like 50mg of elemental magnesium in each 300 mg magnesium.

1.is that also the case with the citrate supplements and it is just not advertised?

2. Does the RDA of magnesium refer to elemental magnesium?

3. How safe is Glycine? I have seen some studies that show that it has some risks. Is that also the case with the glycinein magnesium glycinate?

For sure it is the L-threonate. I had not seen the vitamin C connection, though. That's interesting. I will look into it a little more.
