Warning: coinpayments.net is blocked in some states

tl;dr: make sure you can visit https://www.coinpayments.net without being blackholed to http://pleaseprotectconsumers.org/ before you place an order. Otherwise, the web store breaks completely.

I placed an order today at Ceretropic. I have contacted support about this issue, but I am here to warn other redditors about a potentially serious issue.

Right now, the only option to pay is via cryptocurrencies. If you go all the way through checkout, coinpayments.net will accept your transaction and send you an email confirming it.

If you are in a blocked location, however, when you click "Continue to seller's store", it will display (in my case - for a new account) an empty order history. The payment will still have gone through, but the items you purchased remain in your shopping cart. So CoinPayments gladly accepts your money, but it is not seen as a completed transaction on Ceretropic's website.

I didn't figure out what was going on until I went to the coinpayments.net website directly, without trying to make an individu…

It has actually been like this for a long time. Guess I maybe should have mentioned....? Apparently. Looks like your support never passed this along, since OP claims to have told them about this.

I imagine those states want more info on the people for tax, general spying, and regulatory purposes. It makes sense and is what many states would do.

Since the VPN works, it is just organized by IP.

Either they did not mention it, or it got lost in all the million things I get told in a day. Haha

How long will credit card processing be down for? I've heard it might be down for good. Is this true? And if it is, might we see the return of a number of products?

It might be down for good. I don't know for sure yet. I am working on it, though. We will not be adding any new products without reliable processing. Sad part is that we were about to start releasing some new compounds w

Bromantane

Replying to tidus_the_one · So this is a tested batch, pure and all? Been waiting for god knows how long for it to come back to ceretropic. Is there someone from staff who can confirm it? /u/MisterYouAreSoDum

Yes, I would never sell something that I was not sure was pure. I mean, we were literally out of stock for years. If it's in stock, it means we are sure. It took us a long time to finally get a pure batch again, but this
