tl;dr: make sure you can visit https://www.coinpayments.net without being blackholed to http://pleaseprotectconsumers.org/ before you place an order. Otherwise, the web store breaks completely.
I placed an order today at Ceretropic. I have contacted support about this issue, but I am here to warn other redditors about a potentially serious issue.
Right now, the only option to pay is via cryptocurrencies. If you go all the way through checkout, coinpayments.net will accept your transaction and send you an email confirming it.
If you are in a blocked location, however, when you click "Continue to seller's store", it will display (in my case - for a new account) an empty order history. The payment will still have gone through, but the items you purchased remain in your shopping cart. So CoinPayments gladly accepts your money, but it is not seen as a completed transaction on Ceretropic's website.
I didn't figure out what was going on until I went to the coinpayments.net website directly, without trying to make an individu…

Well that's fucked up. First time I have heard about this. I assume it is just IP blocking? Why would state law mandate them asking for MORE data than required? Is this some state cryptocurrency law I have not heard about yet?
