Ashwagandha and social anxiety--How it has helped me.

Original post in this thread

I have been taking Ashwagandha for a week and have noticed a significant change in the way that I interact with people. Usually when I socialize, I experience a continuous fight or flight response (e.g. tight chest, racing heartbeat, fear, dread). After taking this pill for a week it feels like my social anxiety has improved 90%. I just can't believe how well this stuff is working for me. Does anyone else have a similar or disimilar experience that they would like to share?

Sorry, I have no frame of reference here. I'm like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie and wants to know...

Anyway, I currently don't use it every day because of this unsubstantiated fear. There's some information on pubmed and some on scholar.google.com, but also some locked behind paywalls. I'm having a hard time piecing it together.

Might as well shoot the moon and ask /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb if he thinks Ashwaganda is better suited for daily or situational use.

Both, depending on the person. Daily use works well for some people, but cycling is always a good idea.

KSM-66 and Sensoril Ashwagandha brands are extremely dishonest.

Replying to Megatron_McLargeHuge · NootropicsDepot sells both and supposedly has the most reliable lab testing of any consumer vendor. Have you looked at their versions?

We removed the withanolide claims years ago from those two products, because we found this out in our lab testing. Both Natreon and Ixoreal were not happy with us about it, but we called them out multiple times at Supply
