Coinbase.com seems to be great for setting something up and being able to pay right away. Just did it; my Ceretropic order is confirmed after sending bitcoin to them from coinbase.com.

Heads up - you are limited to add $100 per day until the account is verified with ID/etc. It seems, however, that you can add $100 per day until you have an amount that can cover an order that requires more than $100 worth of bitcoin.

Yeah, I mentioned essentially that in my larger comment. It is unlikely that they’ll find out, but why risk it when it is very easy to just use one intermediary.
