How legit is ND's purity testing?
What they were answering

Too legit to quit!
Seriously, though. I have pretty much dedicated the last four years of my life to advancing not only my own understanding of analytical chemistry, but the standards in the nootropics industry as a whole. When I first got into nootropics back in 2010, it was like the wild west. Nobody knew if what they were ordering was even the correct thing, much less pure. On top of that, most places were just operating out of houses, and things were not being packaged in anything resembling GMP facilities. I did not know enough then to see how risky it was for me. I was just getting things in and trying them out on myself without really thinking of the implications of identity/purity. I remember taking brown clumped pramiracetam from Nootrabiolabs out of a mylar bag, and kind of being sketched out, but not really understanding just how much I should have been.
Then as I started to get more involved in the community, and reports of people getting sick or going to the hospital started popping up, and I knew something needed to happen. So when I became a moderator, I decided to start a testing program funded by donations from the community, and that's where it all started for me. I never would have guessed that I would be here now, with an incredibly advanced analytical lab, and more knowledge about analytical techniques than most people out there. Hell, I never even thought I would start a nootropics company, much less build it to something like what we are today. Yet here we are. I am incredibly proud of what we have done to advance this space, and for the improvements to the safety of the community.
So to answer your question, I feel our purity testing program is the most legit of any nootropics company, and is probably more legit than 99% of all supplement companies out there. On top of that, we are only advancing and improving. We are constantly adding in new equipment, or having our analytical chemists get new training, so that we can advance even more. We also work very closely with a number of 3rd party labs, like Alkemist Labs or Mérieux NutriSciences, for equipment we don't yet have, or techniques that we do not consider ourselves experts at. This is my passion, and I am not content to stop until I am sure we have advanced as far as I can possibly take us.
