It could be working in some manner, but we don't know exactly how. It still has the DGGL sequence in there. It just also has an alanine-glycine, too. We don't know what that will do, nor where the peptide with cleave. It would make a lot more sense to just make Ac-DGGL-NH2 if you were going to make fake P21. Then at least you are not throwing new amino acids into the equation.

Dude, that's the wrong sequence!!!! That has an alanine-glycine grouping on it, not a adamantyl-glycine moiety. That's not even P21. That's a made up sequence. Real P21 is Ac-DGGL-Ag-NH2. That Ag is not alanine-glycine.
