Coingate now has an option to purchase Bitcoin using a credit or debit card. They also have a well-written step-by-step guide on the process. This might be handy for those looking for an alternative to Coinbase in the US. They claim that it only takes an hour to verify the account and get your BTC. After you are verified, they do not need to keep getting info every time.

I would recommend purchasing the BTC before you make an order. Once they are in your wallet, like Electrum, then you can place an order on Ceretropic, and pay the Bitcoin invoice for the order. If you try to purchase the BTC after you make a Ceretropic order, it will likely timeout before you get your BTC, and you will have to place another order anyway. So purchasing the BTC before you make an order on Ceretropic is recommended for ease of use.

So, is this the only way to make a purchase?
( I just ordered from nootrpicsdepot an hour ago and I got confused for half a second that it didn't ask me how to pay, then I read the automatic email explaining)

Ceretropic currently accepts Echeck and Bitcoin for domestic customers, and Bitcoin and credit/debit cards for international customers.
Nootropics Depot currently accepts credit/debit, Echeck, and Bitcoin for domestic customers, and credit/debit and Bitcoin for international customers. However, we hit our monthly processing limit again. So you don't see the credit/debit option at the moment. It will be back up in a day, though. March 1st it resets. Our bank keeps slowly increasing our processing limit. However, our order volume keeps increasing at a faster rate. So we keep hitting it. March 1st gives us another increase. However, with the growth we are seeing, I bet we hit that limit again in a month or two. It's going to be an ongoing thing for the moment. Every time we get the bank to agree to an increase, we get an even bigger increase in customers. It's frustrating that currently our biggest problem is accepting money that people want to give us.
So if you are outside of the US, that would be why you did not get a choice on Nootropics Depot for payment options. Bitcoin is the only current one enabled. The card option will be back up on March 1st, though. So you can order normally Wednesday.
