Why don't you accept Money Orders?

Offering a snail mail solution with a money order payment option seems like a sensible way to end the payment embargo that is occurring with Ceretropic. Those methods still work you know. (Also, it's waaay more private than having to divulge banking info.) As it stands, as a categorical statement, it's easier to buy weapons-grade plutonium online from the Russian mafia using blue-eyed Chinese slave girls as payment than to buy anything from @Ceretropic.

All of that is absurd. Complete bullsh-t in fact. Brick and mortar businesses, grocery and hardware stores, nail salons, gun stores deposit hundreds, even thousands, of checks and money orders into their banks, all across the country, and the planet, every single business day, and NONE OF THEM have their accounts frozen. It does not happen. Has never happened. And it will never happen. Also, the counterfeiting of USPS and bank money orders is about four orders of magnitude LESS common than CC fraud. (As we all know.) Also, depositing USPS and bank money orders into your bank the old-fashioned way attracts FAR LESS attention to your business than receiving wire transfers from that mysteriously shady bank of yours in Hong Kong. Trust me. I know.
The so-called "mail order purchase system" was invented in the middle Bronze-Age to foster trade between the Assyrian, Hittite, Minoan and Egyptian civilizations. Literally thousands of cuneiform tablets have been discovered discussing these transactions and all the bugs and wrinkles in the system were worked out over three-thousand six hundred years ago.
I propose that Ceretropic, as a service to the reddit community, post it's mailing address and begin accepting mail orders as an experiment to revive this ancient and mysterious form of commerce...that's still functioning and in service in exotic locations such as Utah, France, Kansas…

I wrote a big long response, but deleted it. It's not worth arguing about. I have my reasons for the decisions I make, and contrary to what you might think, I am not stupid. I know the Minoans only used BullPay. I have thought of all of this. I do not want to setup a mail order company. This is something I never wanted, and do not want going forward. I've come to terms with the whole Ceretropic situation a while back. Right now Ceretropic is just my pet project to release cool new compounds. I do not care if it has cash flow or grows. I am taking the larger company in a different direction, and have been for some time. I am sorry for how inconvenient it has been to pay. I really am. This was the company I put everything into. It hurts me most of all to see how frustrating it is for our customers. However, the current direction I have to take us in is not conducive to us trying to morph Ceretropic into a mail order business. We have Echeck and Bitcoin at the moment for US customers, and have Bitcoin and card options for international customers. We might get card processing up again for some select approved US customers, but I can't guarantee it. I'll keep working to make Ceretropic more convenient for our customers within the constraints of our operational capacities.
