Semax spray DIY

I've bought a 60mg vial on N acetyl semax amidate and am looking to create an intranasal spray from it.
I've read through the 'Easy DIY spray guide' on /r/nootropics and would like to receive some feedback on some modifications to his guide please.
1. Add 10 ml of deionized water to vial
2. Transfer 1ml of Semax solution to 10ml spray (bought from ceretropic.
3. Add 5ml of deionized water to the spray.
I am hoping this renders the spray with 6mg of Semax suspended in 6ml of water. Since the spray meters a dose of .1 ml, will this distribute 100mcg per spray?
I will be transferring the solutions with a syringe.
Is my method appropriate?
Secondly, is deionized water available at grocery stores or garages for clothes irons and other household uses appropriate?
Thanks for reading, I don't want to ruin my batch !

Do you have a source that distilled water sold at grocery stores has significant amount of impurities compared to the lab grade stuff? If you are claiming that a physiological amount of NaCl wouldn't affect stability much, why would the small amount of impurities in the grocery store water?

Stability is not going to matter much if you are mixing at home, storing it in the fridge, and using it quickly. However, sterility will. You don't want microbes getting into your nasal sprays. We use ultrapure deionized water that has been UV treated. If you use bacteriostatic sodium chloride, then you have benzyl alcohol in it to keep it sterile. Grocery store water is not sterile.
