Questions on Upcoming Product releases (June)from ND & clarification on Rhodiola ( 3% Salidroside, 1 % Rosavin)

Original post in this thread

First of all, hats off to ND & Ceretropic team esp. /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb for providing quality service(& information/Knowledge :) ). I am about to make an order for a couple of Products from ND & before placing one, I am curious to know if ND is planning to release any new products this June( Like herbal stacks) . If yes, I would hold from placing order for now.
Requesting /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb to provide comparison between ND's Rhodiola (3 % Salidrosode, 1 % Rosavin) and other top selling Rhodiola extracts like Eclectic,Gaia. Does ND's Rhodiola have other bio-active compounds like Tyrosol(seen in Super Rhodiola), Procyanidins(EGCG) and if yes what % of Tyrosol?.This will help me make a decision on purchase. Thanks very much.

Requesting /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb to provide comparison between ND's Rhodiola (3 % Salidrosode, 1 % Rosavin) and other top selling Rhodiola extracts like Eclectic,Gaia.

Eclectic institute is a whole freeze dried powder, not an extract. It's pretty good. I've used it a few times a couple years ago with good results. Our 3% rosavin extract is most like the Gaia Herbs, which are extracts standardized to rosavin.

Our 3% Rosavin extract has 2.92% Salidroside, .77% Rosarin, 2.27% Rosavin, and .41% Rosin. I would probably characterize that one as a more balanced calming/stimulating adaptogen feeling. It does contain Tyrosol at about .25%.

Our 3% Salidroside extract has 4.24% Salidroside, .11% Rosarin, .32% Rosavin, and no Rosin. Our testing has shown that extracts with higher Rosavins are more sedating. So this extract is the opposite, and is more stimulating than other extracts. It also contains Tyrosol, but at a higher amount of about .5%. This one will be the most similar to Ceretropic's Super Rhodiola.

Extracts of Rhodioa Rosea do contain Procyanidins based around EGCG. However, we did not test for them in our analysis.

We are not going to be releasing any herbal stacks soon. However, next week we are releasing 5 new fish oils. They are going to be a pure krill oil, a 90% wild Alaskan salmon/10% krill oil mix, A triple strength balanced EPA/DHA fish oil, a 70% EPA fish oil, and a 70% DHA fish oil. They are all Friend of the Sea certified sustainable, and USDA certified Organic. So those are the new releases for this month.

Possible Fake?

Always make sure it says "sold by Nootropics Depot" when buying from us on Amazon. We have brand protection on there, which is supposed to prevent hijacking of our listings. However, they seem to have found a way around

Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.

Major Delays in Re-Stocking Products

Replying to Naathaann · Any estimated time when super rhodiola will be back in stock? I absolutely love it

I am fast-tracking solution migration to ND. So we should be getting that soon. I will have to check with my team on a timeline.

Whoever left the review calling Rhodiola Crenulata "nap in a bottle"...

See, this is why I try to explain that we are all so different. For the average person, the crenulata is stimulating. However, some people have paradoxical reactions to things.

So which products are getting the axe?

Replying to anexanhume · Rhodiola Rosea is now endangered, so unless ND changes to a synthesized version like NNB is doing, it may go away.

We are actually working with a company that is cell culturing plants in vats, and Rhodiola is one of them. We think that is the future, if they can bring costs down.
