As the title says what your unpopular opinions?

For me i don't think MDMA should ever be legalised due to its neurotoxicity.

And instead of MDMA the x-xapb compounds should be as they have a better safety profile.

I completely disagree, based on my own extensive experience with it. But, OK.

That's fine. Lots of people disagree with science using anecdotes. That's the thing, though: science doesn't give a shit. Until we have scientific proof MDMA is not that damaging, it's irresponsible to downplay the risks. That's a fact, not opinion. There are risks. Nobody can argue against that.

I am fairly well known online now, which means I get messages daily from people regarding this MDMA debate. Some days I get 5 or more messages. I get to hear from hundreds, if not thousands, of people on the subject. I'm not going to lie, it gets a bit tiring. However, there is a definite trend to people that abuse MDMA and their perceived and measurable declines in mood and cognition. Some people write me long walls of text, explaining how they have used MDMA every couple of weeks for a few months, and now fear they have damaged their brain. They were under the impression it was perfectly safe. Now they can't concentrate, have mood swings, and forget simple facts. It's infuriating, because when I was younger, I was told the same thing they were. If it is tested pure MDMA, you are perfectly safe. The reality of the matter is that is not true. Should it be legal, so people can get higher quality product, and have the freedom to make their own choices? Absolutely. However, people should understand the risks, and make informed decisions about their own safety; not be pandered to, and told what they want to hear.

Stating that MDMA's risks are overblown is not only irresponsible, it's dangerous. Some kid, who has not learned to think critically yet, it's going to hear that message and abuse the drug. It's in the interest of nobody, yourself included, to have that message out there. You want drugs legalized? Promote informed and responsible use. Get people interested in the risks, mechanisms, and how their brains work. A knowledgeable, responsible, and safe user base is the only way you are every going to see MDMA legalized in your lifetime.

Which substance, in your opinion, is the hardest to remember what happened afterwards? Also, what is your best blackout story?

Ativan (lorazepam) I was going to the Markus Schulz concert one night, here in Phoenix. At dinner, one of my friends rolls a pill across the table to me. He said it was an Ativan. I was like, ohh ok, thanks. I did not i

This is probably going to be the first in a series of discussions I start about MDMA. There's just too much information for one post. Therefore, I am going to start with one that is very interesting to me: MDMA's metabol
