Which semax?

I've heard some people don't respond to the various kinds of semax offered.
Which kind has the least amount of non-responders?
I am thinking about na-semax as my first venture.
What they were answering

I'm pretty sure it's assumed that the same effects are being gained in the acetylated and amidated versions as well, but just with facilitated transport (in both), and added protection from degradation (in the latter).
Is this a faulty assumption? /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb ::rubs genie lamp:: your assistance is needed...

The acetylation and amidation does seem to affect the receptor affinities a bit as well. The modifications change the charge of the peptide, which seems to affect people in different ways. Also, protecting one or both ends of the peptide most likely leads to differing amounts of each sub-sequence in different parts of the brain. There are certainly differences in effects between the different versions.
