Theoretical Based Harm Reduction Practices

Hi Everyone, I work for an organization called Karmik in Vancouver which facilitates night-life harm reduction with both the local community as well as the club scene. I'm currently revamping my Drugs 101+ workshop, and have decided to include some theoretical harm reduction within my new workshop. Normally harm reduction workshops only cover things that have been verified (i.e. anti-oxidants for MDMA related neurotoxicity), as opposed to things that the community is already practicing, but no one has put to test in a lab (stopping the metabolization of MDMA to MDA via an MAOI). My goal is to take this information and make it palatable to non-academic drug users. Although, I should not put myself on a high horse, I study sociology and anthropology ;)
While this information will be kept separate from the more empirically backed research (for ethical reasons), I want to include strongly supported methods to help facilitate good harm reduction practices within the community, as well as help keep people safe and knowledgeable about their bodies.
Information I am looking for:
- MDMA neurotoxicity (I have the info from rollsafe, but if anything has changed it would be good to know)
-…

Sorry I'm only noticing this now.
Nobody ever argues the mechanisms, and why they disagree.
It's difficult to tell exactly what you're referring to here without context, could you help me out?
Do you mean theoretical mechanisms behind using certain supplements to ameliorate MDMA-induced neurotoxicity?
I'd love to have a discussion with somebody knowledgeable in this area.

I mean the theoretical mechanisms for MDMA-induced neurotoxicity, and the possible ways to mitigate them.
When I wrote my post about it years ago, I was hoping that it would spark a deeper discussion, and get people interested in protecting themselves; especially those that traditionally have not thought about the risks of MDMA use. The increased interest in protection seems to have happened. However, the deeper discussion about the mechanisms has pretty much stagnated. This is because the people that might have the relevant knowledge in the pharmacological mechanisms, usually fall back on the "there is no proof this works" argument, and the people who are the most interested in the practical application of the supplementation don't have the knowledge needed to add anything.
I've had a few discussions on it with knowledgeable people. However, that was early on. These days it seems to be people that blindly follow it without thought, or people that immediately dismiss it without reasoning. It would be nice to have a somewhat objective discussion about the proposed mechanisms for MDMA-induced neurotoxiticy, and the efficacy of the proposed supplementation meant to ameliorate it; perhaps even ways to improve it.
