Theoretical Based Harm Reduction Practices

Original post in this thread

Hi Everyone, I work for an organization called Karmik in Vancouver which facilitates night-life harm reduction with both the local community as well as the club scene. I'm currently revamping my Drugs 101+ workshop, and have decided to include some theoretical harm reduction within my new workshop. Normally harm reduction workshops only cover things that have been verified (i.e. anti-oxidants for MDMA related neurotoxicity), as opposed to things that the community is already practicing, but no one has put to test in a lab (stopping the metabolization of MDMA to MDA via an MAOI). My goal is to take this information and make it palatable to non-academic drug users. Although, I should not put myself on a high horse, I study sociology and anthropology ;)

While this information will be kept separate from the more empirically backed research (for ethical reasons), I want to include strongly supported methods to help facilitate good harm reduction practices within the community, as well as help keep people safe and knowledgeable about their bodies.

Information I am looking for:

- MDMA neurotoxicity (I have the info from rollsafe, but if anything has changed it would be good to know)
-…

I stopped arguing these points long ago. I am burnt out on it. Nobody ever argues the mechanisms, and why they disagree. It's always appeals to authority, and constant subtle attacks on expertise and character. Anyone with an actual stance on an issue would address facts, and leave the pseudo intellectual self-masturbation to themselves. Until someone thoroughly attempts to address specific factual issues with the mechanisms of MDMA supplementation, I just stay out of it.

Ok, I did promise that I would make another post regarding supplementation to mitigate MDMA induced neurotoxicity. I have just been putting it off. Since my last post, I have gathered more information regarding my theory
