Semax Discussion - Administering Subcutanelously

After reading /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb's post on Semax administered subcutaneously, I thought I would share some information from a private discussion I had with him and solicit the input of others on the topic. It sounds like this could be a promising and more cost-effective route of administration with very little risk involved. Some of the below is paraphrased and some is copied and pasted directly from our conversation, with permission of course. Keep in mind, I am not an expert on the subject. I am trialing this for the first time and just sharing the information I acquired through my own question-asking and research. Feel free to question/challenge it.
How is Semax injected?
Semax is injected the same way a diabetic injects insulin. You can go to any Walmart or Walgreens pharmacy and buy packs of insulin syringes (which include the needles) for about $1.80 per 10 count bag. Just be sure you know what you're asking for, otherwise you'll get funny looks. I bought 8mm 30-unit syringes with half-unit markings.
