Weird experience with MDMA and 5-HTP

Hey good fellas.

I have taken around 250~300mg of clean ecstasy pills last night.

00:00 - took 200mg

01:30 - redosed with 50~100mg

04:30 - coming down, took a 5HTP pill.

05:00 - tingling sensations arising all of a sudden around my whole body, starting with hands and spreading from there.

05:15 - suddenly feeling like I'm rolling again, but with weird side effects such as my hands and feet not getting enough blood.

06:30 - effects die out.

Sources advise people to take 5htp when coming down. I have been not informed of side effects. I'm looking for some enlightenment.

What happened?

edit: Appreciate the informative answers here. I will have to research more on this 'serotonin syndrome.' Rest assured that the same mistake will not happen again and, on goodwill, that I will spread this information with others.

Is there any proof that reasonable doses of EGCG will create a high enough blood concentration, for a reasonable amount of time, to prevent the majority of a 5-HTP dose from converting in the bloodstream?
