Tried out piracetam, head started thrumming

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could give me some perspective on what just happened.
I've taken an interest in nootropics, and after some research I decided to buy 100 grams of powdered piracetam from nootropicsdepot.com to start me out. It finally came in the mail, and I mixed a teaspoon (about 4.8 grams) with almond milk.
Wow, they didn't lie about the taste. I powered through four gulps before I started feeling a bit lightheaded and got a thrumming sensation in my head. It wasn't painful, but I didn't expect an such an immediate, noticeable effect. I got a bit concerned and I dumped the rest of the milk out.
Is that sensation normal? As I type this I feel fine now, but I'm incredibly new to this stuff and I don't want to screw it up. Also, I did walk into the experience with some anxiety because I read up on some reports of muscle convulsions and brain fog from other people here. Maybe that affected something?
I'm feeling a bit demoralized, and maybe this question is idiotic, but I'm not sure where else to turn. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Sounds like you need choline, a lower piracetam dose, or both.
