Best type of magnesium to reduce amphetamine tolerance?

I've been taking 40mg Vyvanse for an long period of time and am looking for ways to reduce my tolerance. From what I've read it seems like chelated magnesium glycinate has the highest bioavailability, but l-threonate yields the best cognitive benefits so I'm not sure which one would be most effective. I'm currently taking Magnesium oxide that I found lying around, it's not great but it's better than nothing. Also, do I need to take the magnesium at the same time as the Vyvanse? I'm currently taking it at night after the Vyvanse has worn off because it makes me sleepy. Thanks!

Magnesium is not going to reduce your tolerance. You'll need something stronger like memantine for that. Even then, it takes a combination of memantine and time off. Some people have had good results with DXM too.
Magnesium glycinate is good because it is cheap. However, L-threonate it's going to get more to your brain. You can also go with citrate or malate.
