I meant it mostly in jest, though I suppose there's a niche for nootropic beer.
You know, I've always read that people get "more drunk" or "drunk faster" on racetams and when I first started using them I agreed. Like you said though, I noticed that despite the peripheral effects of the alcohol, I still remained eloquent and clear-headed. Over time I've hypothesized that racetams make you more cognizant of the alcohol's effects on motor skill while still preserving thought process. I need to get a breathalyzer and run some accurate experiments, but using a drink-count method (obviously fallable), I actually perform better at traditional sobriety tests on racetams then if I was just plain drunk to the same degree.

I "feel" more drunk. However, I am also more lucid, if that makes any sense. I also drink a lot less when I am on racetams.
