Does magnesium glycinate have any side effects, like gastrointestinal ones? Someone else mentioned chelated magnesium, which one of these would be better, if price was no option?

Magnesium glycinate is chelated. That means that the magnesium is bound to glycine. It does not have the side effects of the cheaper forms like magnesium oxide.
