I already don't have a contract with Verizon. It's called month to month. I just don't get discounted phones anymore, which I think it a fair trade. Their prices for service though, aren't fair.

You pay for subsidization of the phone, but don't get the benefit of the phone. How much is your monthly bill? I'm on the new T-Mobile plan. I have unlimited everything, with LTE, for $69/month. Plus, they sold me the Note 2 for $500. So I get a little subsidization, much cheaper plan, and no contract. LTE is not everywhere yet, but it's getting there.
