It's not even financed, really. At the end of the two years, your bill still stays the same.

Not anymore with T-Mobile. Also, they did subsidize part of my phone. I called them up and told them I wanted the Galaxy Note 2, but I was not going to pay full price. I've been a customer with them for 8 years, and I told them that would continue if the acquiesced to my request. They said the normal price was $350 down, then $20/month for 20 months. So that would be $750. However, they were giving $100 off in the store. So that is $250 down and $400 over 20 months. I told them I wanted more off, so they took another $150 off. So in the end I paid $99 down and $20/month for 20 months. So I got the Note 2 for $500, with $400 of that financed for 2 years at 0% interest. They also lowered my service bill to unlimited everything with no throttling for $70/month. So I got the Note 2 way cheaper than I could anywhere else, and unlimited everything for less that what I was paying. At the end of the 20 months my bill goes down to $70. Their new strategy is damn good.
