Is the antifertility effect of Bacopa in mice something you should be worried about?

Mice of the Parkes (P) strain were orally administered Brahmi (250 mg/kg body weight/day, for 28 and 56 days), and effect of the treatment on reproductive organs and fertility was investigated.
In Brahmi-treated males, libido remained unaffected, but fertility was notably suppressed. The alterations caused in the above reproductive endpoints by the plant extract were reversible, and by 56 days of treatment withdrawal, the parameters recovered to control levels.
The dose is pretty high (250 mg/kg). You think it will noticeably affect fertility?

Allometric scaling between species has to be accounted for, since different species have different metabolisms. I used the standard calculation for a mouse to human. You take the dose, multiply by 3-4 for a mouse (6-7 for a rat), then divide by 37. You can also use a calculator. This is one that is easy to use.
