The man in question witnessed a murder, which he could not get over. He started drinking alcohol heavily. Then he was given MDMA at a club, and realized it made him feel better. He then started eating a pill every few hours. He was arrested with 50 pills on his person, for his own use! His father had been an alcoholic, and their family had a history of addiction. This is not a case of properly treated PTSD by MDMA and a psychiatrist. It's a case of a terribly troubled man who did about as stupid of a thing as he could.
