Supplements to reduce the effects of aging on a 60yo male brain?

My uncle is a brilliant guy, and I can tell his mind is very slowly, ever so slightly starting to slow down. He is still a smart, intelligent guy, I just want to know if there is anything i can do to help reduce that. I can get him to take piracetam every now and then, 800mg, not regularly at all. Like once a week, because he is stubborn.
Are there any other supplements, nootropic or otherwise, that I should look into?
How is Selegiline ? I have not read anything about it, bar 1 line. I will do my research.
NOTE: I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE HIM ANYTHING WITHOUT A TON OF RESEARCH MYSELF, I would just like a few leads , some general info on supplements that I can further research myself. This is family, I would never just give him anything without a ton of research.

Don't be skeptical of bacopa just because it's used in Ayurvedic treatments. There are many scientific studies to back up it's usage.
