To what extent does adderall effect rolling?

Original post in this thread

My friend is prescribed 20mg adderall, daily. I know adderall and MDMA have a cross tolerance, but to what extent? Can rolling still be achieved? Would a higher dose help? Or maybe taking a short break from adderall?

Any experiences or thoughts are appreciated.

Edit: Thanks for the responses. I'm thinking the safest bet would be to stop taking adderall for a few days leading up to the roll.

I would be very interested in your theory, however I may be at fault for not explaining the study but your are incorrect in saying it is unrelated. Essentially the study finds that it is not aMD itself but a metabolite of aMD with Glutathione which is responsible for selective damage to 5-HT. This metabolite is a product of higher temperatures. As amphetamine greatly increases temperature and aMD it should be avoided.

That aside. I have long been disappointed at the lack of MDMA discussion and the fact that so many of my questions have gone unanswered. You seem like you really know your shit and I would love to here your theories and join in the discussion :)

EDIT: Correct me if you disagree. Their is much in that study that confounds me, especially why direct injection into the brain prevent any neurotoxicity.

I agree about the higher temperatures. However, I have some theories on the specific mechanisms for the oxidative stress.
