To what extent does adderall effect rolling?

Original post in this thread

My friend is prescribed 20mg adderall, daily. I know adderall and MDMA have a cross tolerance, but to what extent? Can rolling still be achieved? Would a higher dose help? Or maybe taking a short break from adderall?

Any experiences or thoughts are appreciated.

Edit: Thanks for the responses. I'm thinking the safest bet would be to stop taking adderall for a few days leading up to the roll.

Take a break as any amphetamine will significantly exacerbate neurotoxicity http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9128836

Why did you cite a study that has nothing to do with amphetamine? The one you linked is talking about the metabolites of MDMA causing neurotoxicity. It has nothing to do with AMP, nor does it have to do with dopamine. It's talking about the demethylated metabolite of MDA being neurotoxic to humans.

MDMA is metabolized by your CYP3A4 enzyme into MDA, then it's further metabolized to alpha-methyldopamine. MDA is widely known to be much more neurotoxic than MDMA. I have a theory that is due to this metabolite, and I am going to write a post about it soon; with citations. But I digress. Your premise has validity, but your citation was irrelevant to the amphetamine discussion.
