What nootropic can you cycle l-theanine with?

Original post in this thread

I really like how l-theanine makes you feel so calm and allows you to think clearly under pressure - it doesn't make your mind all fuzzy. I've used it a fair bit before but have noticed that you develop a tolerance to it very fast, so I would like to cycle it with something else that has a similar effect but has no cross-tolerance with it i.e. using one noot does not increase tolerance of the other.

What do you guys recommend for this?

My stack of L-theanine, Bacopa, Noopept, and Oxiracetam was working well. I cycled off the Noopept and Oxiracetam this week, and I have been unmotivated as hell. It seems that L-theanine and Bacopa alone just make me calm and not want to do anything; even with lots of caffeine.

Any long term (6+ months) daily users of Racetams or other Nootropics out there? Care to post your stories?

Replying to awaitingsanity · Great intel. I was thinking about replacing piracetam with noopept in my stack. Do they seem to "go well" together or would you recommend one over the other?

I'd say they go well together. I found that 10mg noopept, 450mg oxiracetam, 200mg caffeine, 150mg L-theanine, and 200mg Bacopa was a very good stack. You could probably switch out the oxiracetam for 1,600mg piracetam wit

Pramiracetam experiences - no effect for me

Replying to fungz0r · Does this have any effect on speech?

Now that you mention it, yes. I led a conference call yesterday and I was fumbling my words in the beginning. Keep in mind I was also on bacopa, l-theanine, modafinil, ginkgo, oxiracetam, and caffeine. It just feels like

Research Suggests no Neurotoxicity in MDMA

Replying to blahblah15 · Thanks! Can you give a brief rundown of what each of these does & why you're taking it? I can google it, but it's not so clear.

Noopept is a dipeptide derivative of piracetam, that is 1000 times stronger. This means that my dose is literally 10mg instead of 1.6 grams with piracetam. I dose it sublingually. It is an AMPA and NMDA positive alloster

Ok, I will start off with a little back story. This week has been an extraordinarily crappy week for me. Without going into too many specifics, I was a victim of fraud earlier in the week. All my bank accounts and credit

Hey r/Nootropics, we are two neuroscience grad students looking for your suggestions on an upcoming project.

Replying to Carduceus · Mister, you ain’t so dumb, I’d love to know what stack you are taking.

I modify my stack a lot. Currently I am taking: * 1,600mg Piracetam * 15mg noopept * 300mg Pramiracetam * 500mg ALCAR * 150mg Na-R-ALA * 130mg DMAE * 450mg Bacopa * 300mg Saint John's Wort * 5000iu Vitamin D * 500mg Que

Any interest in a subredit for older nootropics users?

Replying to seb21051 · Understood. Morning after breakfast: 25mg Noopept, 150mg CDP Choline, 500mg ALCAR, 100mg Theanine, Coffee, 1g2 Fishoil, 65mg Ginko, Multivitamin. After Lunch: 25mg Noopept, 150mg C

First I'll start with the nootropic stack. Noopept is good, but is going to take time to build up. I also think you need to lower your dose. 25mg is usually to high for most people on a regular basis. I take 15mg and th
