Dubai starts to look like Coruscant

I wholeheartedly agree with you about the workers being taken advantage of. But there's really nothing more I can do other than voice my concern and sign petitions - hoping that the situation will approve.
But I wouldn't, let's say, decline a job offer in Dubai for that one reason. Every country has its pros and cons and it's up to you to make the best of it. With that said, I really do respect your opinion as you have visited Dubai and are speaking from first hand experiences.
I'm just tired of most redditors bashing on Dubai from behind their computer screens without actually visiting the place.
Cheers.

I agree, there is not much each of us can do individually about the situation. For some people it is a culture and environment that they can live in and enjoy. I am just not one of those people that would be able to handle it and stay happy. I would get depressed and bitter. However, there is a lot of potential opportunity there because of it's growth. I'm glad that you have found a place that you can enjoy. I too get tired of people online criticizing things that they have no experience with. I always try to stave off personally criticizing something unless I have first hand knowledge. It just happens that I have been to many places around the world for business, so I sometimes have many opinions.
