Timmy wasn't a particularly daring mouse, he never strayed to far, always made sure to check for cats and traps before venturing out of the nest, and was always sure only to come out when the lights were off. Really, he was a good, wholesome little mouse. He lived in a small hole in the wall with his mother and his brother. It wasn't much, but they liked it. It was conveniently located in the attic, where there were always plenty of tidbits to play with and plenty of food to be scavenged, not to mention a fairly enchanting aroma.

One day, Timmy's mother got sick, so he decided to stay in and keep her company while his brother went out to scavenge. He wasn't very good at scavenging, so it was better this way. They sat together for quite some time before they started to fret. Why hadn't Timmy's brother come back yet? When the sun started to go down, Timmy decided he would go out to check for his brother, he suspected he might have gotten distracted flirting with the girls over by that frilly pink stuff.

Timmy hadn't had anything to eat today, and when the smell of a sweet home made apple pie drifted up to him, he couldn't resist. "It will only take a minute" he thought to himself, "Besides, the guys said home made apple pie is the best practice."

So Timmy found the source, a small hole in their attic, where the overwhelming scent wafted. At this point, he couldn't control him…
