Vigorous Steve did an experiment with Epicatechin, and in the video he mentioned that ND uses shady marketing strategies, he was referring to the ecdy/turk situation. I thought this was dumb of him to say.
And his post bloodwork showing a very significant increase in his c-reactive protein.

I suspect it is likely produced by the piperine content in the tablets, and there’s likely an interaction with the numerous other substances he is consuming on a regular basis that went undetected in his research in observing for those potential interactions and/or some interaction with the chronic gut/microbiome problems he deals with (many subjective reports of carnivore/ketogenic dieters having an inflammatory response from black pepper and most any spice whatsoever, and by extension the piperine content).
I don’t personally see it as a problem with the product itself as I take it myself with zero problems, being fully aware of piperine’s extensive pharmacology, but you know how the average person is 😂

That's possible. I am not sure what else he is taking. We are always conservative on our piperine doses, and only use it in cases where it makes sense, rather than chucking it in literally everything like other brands. If he is taking a bunch of other supplements from other brands that have it, it would all add up, though.
