Nootropics Depot knows the power of transparency in the supplement industry - and what can happen when companies make false claims and sell fake products. We spoke with Greg Doucette, IFBB Pro bodybuilder and founder of HTLT supplements, about the Turkesterone scandal that raised significant concerns within the bodybuilding community in 2022. Click to watch on YouTube and Spotify now!

In this podcast, Emiel and Erika welcome Ellie, Greg, and Marwan to break down the controversy and what really happened when people realized their products didn’t contain real Turkesterone. Seriously, whats the angle here? Regarding fadogia specifically Mister kind of turned me off that when he reported how much of it was absolutely lies and pure bs. This flies in the face of everything he built his company on, although I quickly admit I do not know who this guy is and I only follow the words people speak here. The little I've seen is anathema to ND as a brand.

I made a bunch of comments explaining our position in this thread.

If we boil this down to its simplest possible explanation, it's like this. We released lab testing results 2.5 years ago showing every single turkesterone product on the market failed for label claims. All the brands decided it was better to shit on us or our data, or to quietly sweep it under the rug, instead of making the difficult decision of admitting there was something wrong with their product. HTLT didn't, though. They said that it looked like our data might be solid, and that they needed to do more work to solve the science. Then they did just that, and actually spent this time bringing out a product that does meet their label claims. This is what everyone should want brands to do. If there is a problem with one of their products, admit it and work towards understanding the issue and fixing the problem.
