House ashwagandha 12% vs 9%

I have an old bottle of the 12% Nootropicsdepot ashwagandha, but I see the new version is 9%. What can you guys tell me about the differences between them? I also see that the new one is out of stock. Is it coming back in soon?

This is actually made for us by a facility in India. They have a different test method and standardization than we use. We use the Shoden STAG, but they are looking at the USP one. Initial batches were testing higher on our Shoden method, so we set our spec high. However, since they are not looking at the same total withanolides we are, there was always a chance that future batches would not come out at the super high spec we set. Since this facility in India only looks at the 8 withanolides in the USP monograph, and they target their spec based on that, we had to lower our spec. It's the same raw material and extraction as always. We just had to set our spec more reasonable for them to continue meeting it.
