Any hope for SmartPS coming back? Or does the war have to end for that to happen?

What's wrong? My dog died five days ago (euthanized, TCC was about to seal off his bladder), so feeling pretty bummed myself.
Fortunately I saved some RR and Panamax for the stress so it's been much easier...thanks ND!

I'm sorry to hear that! It's always tough when a dog dies. One of my dogs has cancer right now, so we are dealing with that. It's a rare form called an insulinoma, which is highly metastatic. Basically, pancreatic cells mutate and start making way too much insulin. This puts them into hypoglycemic shock. We had surgery to remove the mass from his pancreas, but some of the cells already migrated to his liver. Those cells then start making insulin from the liver. I have to give him prednisone and diazoxide twice a day to keep his insulin in check. However, the chemo we have him on is upsetting his stomach, so he won't take the pill pockets I give him anymore. This means I have to literally shove it down his throat twice a day to keep him from dying. So that's been stressful.
