No, because you drink it right away. It takes time to break them down. Most extractions have the material under constant heat for 1-3 hours, which is where it becomes an issue. Making a tea and drinking it right after you make it isn't an issue. If you mixed it into boiling water, and then left it on a heater for a long time, then it would be a different story.
