Erinacines get destroyed with heat, especially erinacine-A. You can extract them, but you have to do it in a specific way. We have made Erinamax extracts already, and I have taken a bunch of them for testing. However, you will always lose some things in an extraction. This is why getting the native content of secondary metabolites high is so crucial. Then once you do that, your extractions can be even more potent. You just need to really understand the chemistry before extracting willy nilly, because you can destroy or lose the things you want. This is happening more than you think in mushrooms, because brands are not actually measuring the secondary metabolites, or using fake/improper chemistry to try and do it.
Chromadex finally released an erinacine-A reference standard, and I know multiple brands that have gone out and bought it to test their products. However, you don't see anyone claiming it yet, because they finally know what we know: there isn't any in their products. The real funny thing for me is how Chromadex made it. They bought our Erinamax in large quantities, and extracted it from our product! So the available reference standard finally on the market was made from our Erinamax.

Everyone should go out and test for it now; see the data we have seen for years.
