Review - Mushroom Magic Matcha Baller Edition

Original post in this thread

I've been trying out the new Mushroom Magic Matcha Baller Edition these last few days. While I never tried the original Mushroom Magic Matcha, as I tend to prefer Ceremonial Grade Japanese Matcha, I can at least speak to my experiences with this one compared with other Ceremonial Grade Matcha I have had in the past and what I liked and disliked about this one in general.

The Mushroom Magic Matcha Baller Edition is one of the smoothest matchas I have had in a while, compared with other Japanese Matcha I've used which tend to taste more on the grassy side. This one was more neutral in flavor. This is not inherently a bad thing, though, as I imagine that NootropicsDepot had to choose a Matcha that paired well with all the various mushrooms they added and didn't want the mushroom taste to come out way too much and spoil the drink's taste. I am curious about what a straight mushroom tea would taste like on its own. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a tea drink but are worried that the grassy notes of matcha may be too much, this one is right for you. If you prefer the more grassy notes, then mess around with the amount of water you use. Using the matcha powder in cold water is a bi…

I hope you do sachets and throw a few in to orders like you used to do with panamax (which is what got me to buy lots of bottles of panamax, just about to take one actually).

We are getting quotes on sachet machines now. It's something we have always talked about, but it might be time for it. The prices co-mans charge for sachets are outrageous! We've literally gotten quotes of 20 cents a piece! That's 20 cents just for the sachet and putting the powder into it, not anything to do with the powder itself. So for a 30ct box, you'd be around $7 just for the packaging. That's before you even talk about the cost of what is in it. I am sure you can get those prices down if you are doing millions at a time, but when we launch products we don't know how big the demand will be, so we do smaller runs. Plus, we don't trust anyone anymore, so doing it in-house is really our best option.
