It's the same great mushroom blend that is in Mushroom Magic Matcha and Mushroom Magic Coffee, but this time made into a delicious cocoa! We had actually sourced some cocoa from suppliers when doing our formulation and beta testing, but ran into a problem that is more common than most consumers think. The cocoa that we purchased from these very large suppliers was FAKE! That's right... cocoa is one of the most adulterated and faked products on the market. These companies make blends with things like carob and almond to mimic the flavor of cocoa, and even throw in cocoa husks to trick DNA testing. We had no idea the scale of the problem before starting out on this blend. Luckily we do tons of lab testing on everything that enters our facility, so we caught the fraud right away. It's like buying Coke and realizing the supplier made a fraudulent formula with saccharine and cheaper plant extracts made to taste vaguely like Coke.
