Was ND’s product ever tested for ergothioneine levels? I know this was discussed briefly by MYASD quite a while back, but not sure if it ever happened.
Thanks!

Interesting. Any preliminary range (% of shiitake extract) you’d be comfortable sharing? Would the extract be a further purification from your current shiitake extract? Or is this something that can just by synthesized?

That paper from the USDA showed ergosterol content at 0.0792% in maitake and 0.0849% in shiitake. Our preliminary results were 0.0685% in our maitake and 0.07053% in our shiitake. So our numbers are right in line with the USDA numbers. Studies on ergothioneine in shiitake get a range of 0.012% to 0.043%. I'll check with my team how close we are on our numbers, but these are going to be around where it will be.
