Just wondering if magnesium stearate is anything like other forms of magnesium. I believe magnesium is a very powerful at increasing BDNF and I'm trying to avoid things that increase BDNF activity because it causes me to shed a lot of hair.
Does magnesium stearate also increase BDNF activity?

Got it thanks. I was trying to avoid it because I started to get really aggressive hair shedding and the timeline for it lines up with when I started taking magnesium supplements. If there is as small amount of it as you say then I will ignore it in ingredients. Thanks.

As little as possible. It depends on the specific powder, and how much it clumps to things. It's usually 2% or less of the fill weight of the capsule. Sometimes we use stearic acid instead. Other times we use nothing. It just depends on the powder. We never add anything unless we need to.
