Why does the Infini-B complex use methylcobalamin over Hydroxycobalamin?

I’m wondering as Hydroxycobalamin is a more active form and easily converted in the body as compared to methylcobalamin.

If not adenosylcobalamin, have you had any luck with other sources of adenosine? cAMP or precursors should work great with a dopamine stack.

IMO, alternatively-substituted cobalamins in general are a really untapped corner of biochemistry. If you can't get adenosylcobalamin though, that doesn't bode well for anything more exotic. I've been curious about glutathionylcobalamin, where glutathione bonds to B12 via on the cysteine's S end; I kinda wonder what cysteine-B12 would do in the body.

Our cordyceps actually has high adenosine levels. The issue is that I am not sure if it is orally bioavailable. A study even tried supplementing ATP and found it did not increase blood levels, but did increase uric acid, which is not ideal.

Adenosine 5′-triphosphate \(ATP\) supplements are not orally bioavailable: a randomized, placebo-controlled cross-over trial in healthy humans

Now that is ATP, not adenosine itself. Then there was another study that showed benefits with exogenous ATP supplementation.

Adenosine-5'-triphosphate \(ATP\) supplementation improves low peak muscle torque and torque fatigue during repeated high intensity exercise sets

So there is conflicting information. Cordycepin is an adenosine derivative, and there are other adenosine derivatives in cordyceps that I think are active orally. Truthfully, I have not personally tried adenosylcobalamin, so I can't comment on how much more effective it is. Maybe I need to.

My cordyceps congealed! Any way to rescue it? I haven’t gotten any water in it, I changed out the desiccant packets, but now it’s become a gooey lump. My Red Reishi purchased in the same order is still a powder, stored in the same conditions. What’s going on?

Holy crap! Water got in there somehow. Where was it stored?
